Shipping Policy

Orders placed on will only ship to valid United States street addresses.

At this time, shipment is not provided outside the United States, to P.O. Boxes, to military APO/FPO addresses, or to U.S. territories. If you have questions or concerns regarding this, please contact Border States directly.

Orders will be processed and shipped when all items become available and are in stock. Only complete orders will be shipped.

Current Account Customers

Current account customers have the option to ship partial orders. In-stock items will ship or be ready for pickup as soon as possible. Any items not in stock will be shipped or ready for pickup when the items are available.

Border States is not responsible for delays in shipping when causes are beyond Border States’ control.

Orders are shipped Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

Orders must be placed before 1 p.m. CT to be processed same day.

Shipping Charges

  1. If the delivery is shipped common carrier, shipping charges will be added to each delivery.
  2. All material shipped from stock on Border States trucks is shipped at no charge regardless of order size.
  3. Back orders are charged shipping according to the original sales order.
  4. Air freight or premium shipping is available for an additional cost.

Shipping Flat Rate

A $14.95 shipping flat rate is applied to all orders not shipped via Border States truck delivery.

Some restrictions apply based on the weight of the items being shipped. Orders are evaluated for restrictions on a case-by-case basis.

Orders shipped on Border States trucks are free delivery. Depending on the size of your order, Border States staff will determine the best shipping method for you to receive your order in a timely manner.

Some customers have contractual agreements that impact shipping rates. Contact your Account Manager or Customer Service Representative if you have questions about your shipment.

Order Status and Shipment Tracking

Order status is provided by Border States. It is available immediately after purchase and represents the status of your purchase until it ships from the Border States warehouse.

The shipping carrier provides tracking information. Tracking information may not be available for up to 48 hours after purchase.
